ಪ್ರತಿಧ್ವನಿ

     No cake cutting, no partying but still our birthday’s during childhood was a great celebration. This celebration unlike now was not meant for a day but used to sustain for a week or so, As we were receiving different colourful greeting cards and letters on and around the date from our dear ones residing in near and far off places. On approach of festivals too there was a huge responsibility on us which was preparing a beautiful greeting getting stamps and posting to all our near ones. For the writings on the card we had to ponder over dictionary’s so that we do not mean wrong. Like this our leisure time was spent fruitfully. Unlike the younger generation now who get bored in short time and go mad not knowing how to pass their time, eventhough the wishes (b’day or festive) are sent by large number of known and unknown friends.
