        Union Budget has been delivered by our FM Arun Jaitley. Discussions have been going on about the advantages and disadvantages of this year’s union budget. Influence of the upcoming elections can be clearly seen on the budget. Since this is the last budget of NDA in this term, they’ve finally considered the problems of the farmers and have given much importance to agriculture and rural sector.     We all know that Agriculture is the backbone of Indian economy. Almost 70% of India’s population can be found in rural area. This has led to the appeasement of farmers and rural women for the upcoming state and central government elections which can be evidently seen in this year’s budget.     Some of the most interesting announcements can be listed as: Declaration of Minimum Support Price (MSP) for most of the crops which makes sure that farmers get at least 150% of the money they’ve invested on the crops.
